Wood provides a great opportunity to create individual and distinctive signage for visitor attractions and commercial properties. They convey warmth and a welcoming, old-fashioned feel. Although oak is the most popular choice, there are many other woods that can be used – it just depends on the look you’re trying to achieve.  External signs weather over time though, taking on a silvery patina; remember to take this into account in your design.
